MicroStim – Cu is a liquid fertilizer designed primarily for foliar application, but can also be applied to soil, irrigation water or nutrient solution. The fertilizer is designed to eliminate latent and apparent copper deficiency. Copper is essential in plant oxidation-reduction processes and is a component of a number of proteins required in enzymatic reactions. It is involved in photosynthesis, respiration, nitrogen metabolism and protection of the plant from drought stress. Deficiency occurs mainly on soils with low copper supply and high organic matter, which immobilizes copper. The deficiency is mainly found in cereal crops, and it occurs after planting. It causes lightening and drying of apical leaves, reduced growth of internodes and, in cases of severe deficiency, a reduction in generative organs. In monocots, the spikes may be deaf and unspotted, while in dicots there is a reduction in the number and size of flowers.

The fertilizer does not contain sodium. The accompanying chelate ion is NH4+.

Dosage

0,5-1,5 l/ha. The fertilizer is intended for foliar application in copper-intensive or copper-deficient crops. The correct application rate should be based on plant and soil analyses, plant sensitivity to possible phytotoxicity and climatic conditions. For doses higher than 1 l/ha it is recommended to split the dose at an interval of 14-21 days.

Storage

The fertilizer should be stored in its original packaging, in dry, lockable storage, at a temperature of +7 to +30 °C.
