MicroStim – Zn is a liquid fertilizer designed primarily for foliar application, but can also be applied to soil, irrigation water or nutrient solution. The fertilizer is designed to eliminate latent and apparent zinc deficiency. Zinc is essential in the plant due to its ability to form four-bond complexes with nitrogen, oxygen, and occasionally sulphur ligands and thus plays an important role in enzymatic reactions. It is involved in the metabolism of nucleic acids, amino acids, carbohydrates and protection of the plant against drought stress. The deficiency is particularly pronounced in strongly acidic and alkaline soils, where it is bound to clay minerals and carbonates to form insoluble compounds. The primary signs of zinc deficiency in the plant are reduced chlorophyll and auxin biosynthesis. Stunted growth is typical due to shortened internodes, reduced size of new leaves and leaf rosettes. In addition, light to white spots form on the leaves between the veins. Red-brown necrotic spots appear in the chlorotic bands, which enlarge and the leaves subsequently die.

The fertilizer does not contain sodium. The accompanying chelate ion is NH4+.

Dosage

0,5-1,5 l/ha. The fertilizer is intended for foliar application in crops demanding zinc or showing zinc deficiency. To determine the correct application rate, it is necessary to rely on plant and soil analyses, plant sensitivity to possible phytotoxicity and climatic conditions. For doses higher than 1 l/ha it is recommended to split the dose at an interval of 14-21 days.

Storage

The fertilizer should be stored in its original packaging, in dry, lockable storage, at a temperature of +7 to +30 °C.
